BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWEREMENT  ( B-BBEE ) STATUS LEVEL CERTIFICATES

From the 7th of December 2011 Bidders are required to, together with their bids, submit original and valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates or certified copies thereof to substantiate their B-BBEE rating claims.

Bidders who do not submit B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates do not qualify for preference points for B-BBEE but would not be disqualified from the bidding/tender process.

B-BBEE Status level Verification Certificates must be obtained from the following agencies:
• Verification Agencies accredited by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) ; or
• Registered auditors approved by the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (IRBA)
